Bare Essentials Home Care (BEHC) is a non-for-profit organization that primarily provides home health care to the elderly, disabled, and indigent clients in the Jackson County Kansas City area who participate in Title XIX and XX. In addition to the clients receiving services through the Division of Aging, BEHC is a contract provider for the Veterans Association and accepts private pay clients on a sliding scale fee for service.

In addition to providing services to its contract agencies, BEHC also provides training opportunities and technical assistance to ensure that the highest quality home care services are provided to clients. BEHC's supports work readiness and job re-entry for new hires which affords us to further assure high quality services and education for clients through monitoring, training, and mentoring.

BEHC is poised to expand its service to meet the needs of the community and its employees by developing programs that meet the child care, transportation, mentoring, and enhancement of life skills to ensure successful retention of its workers.
